Well, it's time for another post to Dogwood Acres OnLine. Funny thing about this blogging stuff. There are no deadlines, I can write whenever I feel like it or not at all. Funnier still, is that so far nobody (well, almost) even knows about this. A blog is supposed to be interactive, kinda like email, but when you reply to my blog, it becomes public for others to see. Because it is "my" blog, I can log in and write about whatever....then when you read it,there is a place for you to "post" a response. So, if blogging is new to you, never mind, it is new to me too, so we can learn together.
I have had my sister and my son look at the first blog which was a dedication to Mother - had hoped they would post a profound response, even tried putting words in son's mouth, but so far nothing has come of it. I may write a few more times before letting others know it's here....just for practice you know.

very neat idea!I love to read your article in the newspaper, however;I seldom can remember to buy a newspaper...that would require my leaving my computer.lol I will check in often.I would also like to take this chance to thank all those who contacted us after my father,Norman Ward, passed this summer.Tony and I drove up to near Kirksville Mo.this weekend and set out his headstone. He was laid to rest in a family cematary 2 miles from where he was born,in Elmer Missouri.(in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of a cow pasture!)It is good to know that not all the world has gone commercial, his brothers hand dug his grave and us children set out his headstone.many here will remember him as his army name from his air traffic controller days,NovemberWhiskey.Funny name for a man who never drank a drop of whiskey ,but uncle sam gave him that as his call letters. He later used those for his " C.B. Handle",used on the C.B.Radio.He helped save several lives in Taney county in the early 70's by communicating thru his C.B.radio.he went out in snow storms to find car accident victims who's only way to contact anyone was thru the CB radio. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers.

Enjoy reading the comments.
Laney girl,
it is beautiful, and so are you, and your momma is a beautiful heavenly angel, and when she was
here on earth, she was a beautiful earthly angel.
Zoe, I envy you, you are in such a "heavenly place" with no pain nor tears nor sorrow. It is we that are still on earth that bears the pain and tears and sorrow. God Bless you! and Laney, I love you! cousin Sandy
