Rick and I attended a Big Smith Concert at Branson Landing on Friday night. Although the concert began at 8:00 p.m., we were there by 5:30 and got first pickins' of where to place our lawn chairs.Wasn't long until we began to see other family members and old friends; even our son, Neal, 
joined us as he had finished installing cabinets in Branson.
It was a lot like a family reunion with so many Big Smith cousins and grandkids from the newest generation.
Jay Williamson has such a sweet family, couldn't believe how tall his pretty little Emma Lucille, aka Lucy, has grown. Then there was his twins, who surely keep home life from ever being boring.
Rick and Gay Thomas were surrounded by grandchildren with Rik's two, Kadie and Andrew and Bill's little one, Eli. Eli has rhythm; I don't think he could stand still if he had to!
The backdrop of Lake Taneycomo and Branson Landing Fountains created an ambiance that made me feel like I was on vacation. I think I could have stayed all night and Rick is already talking about how many trout he could catch there!
Was the concert good?? You Betcha! Our guys played and sang their hearts out for over two hours. We got more than our money's worth but it was FREE! I will be watching the
